Here you’ll find everything you need to help navigate your child’s Amplify experience throughout the year. We’ll do our best to keep this page updated each month alongside our monthly newsletter so you always have the latest information. Thanks for visiting!

October 6: 4:00-8:00 PM Revival and Soloists recording “He is the Gift” at the recording studio in SLC. We will be carpooling down.

October 14-15: No classes. Fall Break.

Saturday, October 24: 3:00-5:00 PM, Broadway Groups ONLY Dress Rehearsal at Amplify Ogden Location

Monday, October 26: 7:00 PM, Roy High School Little Theater

“This is Halloween,” Amplify Halloween Production, featuring Act One, Broadway Kids, and Broadway Minis.

Wednesday, October 28: REVIVAL and select members of Amplify Children’s Choir, Music Video Shoot with Shawna Edwards in Goshen, UT. Details below.

Saturday, November 21: Christmas Dress Rehearsal for ALL GROUPS at Amplify Ogden location

November 24-26: No classes. Thanksgiving Break.

Recording — Revival Only
Revival will record “He Is the Gift” at a recording studio in Salt Lake on Tuesday, October 6. We are still waiting on specific recording times. Soloists may also need to record on a separate day and we’ll send those details once they are finalized.
Music Video Shoot — Revival & Amplify, Thursday, October 22
- Arrive at the Amplify Ogden Studio at 6:15 AM and depart by 6:30 AM
- Amplify Studio: 186 W 36th St, Ogden, Utah
- Arrive at Goshen: 8:30 AM
- Filming: 9:30 AM–1:00 PM
- Estimated return to Amplify: 3:00–4:00 PM, depending on traffic
Students will need to miss school that day since this was the date the Goshen Set was available. We’ll provide plenty of breaks throughout the filming window.
We will need several parent volunteers to help transport students to Goshen and back. Volunteer drivers will stay at the set throughout filming.
Please indicate on the form if you are able to help drive and would like to volunteer. The number of drivers we need will depend on how many students participate.
There will be approximately 6–8 featured soloists, including singers from both Amplify and Revival.
If your child would like to be considered, they will need to submit a 30–60 second audition video by Wednesday, September 30.
They may sing a portion of “He Is the Gift” or a Christmas song of their choice. Videos should be submitted through our Audition Form link:

Shawna will make the final soloist selections. We’ll work with the selected singers to prepare them for recording.
We’ll communicate through GroupMe when we leave Goshen so parents have an updated return time. Since we’ll be filming on location, we’ll also communicate any weather-related changes as soon as possible.

Each singer needs to know their assigned part well. We’ll send practice tracks so students can work on the song at home in addition to rehearsing during class.
We will add practice tracks to this page By Friday, September 25th.
